Since personally working at Black Lines since its launch in 2019 and then departing as Creative & Marketing manager in 2024, Cluny Studio has continued to assist on variety of creative levels. From day one, it’s been about dividing the drinks industry and making simple & delicious cocktails accesible to everyone. From a design point of view, it’s about nodding to the traditions of Cocktail history then catapulting it into a modernistic & playful world. The team at Black Lines are constantly pushing boundaries within the drinks industry and it’s an on-going collaborative pursuit to change the drinks landscape for good.

Like every classic cocktail, every creative idea, campaign, product, shoot or illustration, always starts with a couple simple ingredients. What is the serve and what does it mean. Everything starts from there.

White Negroni

The traditional Negroni met its modernistic brother. Think Negroni, then think again. For this limited release we wanted to help Black Lines nod back to a retro noughties backlit shoot but also keep high end contemporary approach to match the quality of the liquid; East London Gin, Suze, Dolin Blanc.

Cluny was by Black Lines side assisting on product design, illustration development, studio photography and image compositing.

Oatnog

For the fourth consecutive year, Black Lines has delivered the Christmas Number 01 drink. The Oatnog is beyond the best of the Christmas delicacies and Cluny has helped improve this serve with a luscious design & identity. Photography, design, art directing, out-of-home campaigning, and lots of fun creamy, rummy, arty fun.
